Validate Email Addresses on Google Sheets

Did you know you can enforce the entry of valid email address format within Google Sheets? Here is how to do it!

Follow These Steps

Select the cell range where you want valid email addresses.

Go to Data Data Validation.

In the panel on the right, click on Add Rule. Under criteria, select Text is Valid Email.

Choose to show a warning or reject the input. And finally, click on Done.

Google Sheets will now show a warning or reject the entry of invalid email addresses, depending on your selection.
