Ten Quotes for Motivation

Sometimes we need just a little extra motivation to get through the day.

Here are ten motivational quotes to help you push forward and make the most of today, tomorrow, and all the days after.

Quote No. 1 – Jim Rohn

Don’t wish it was easier, wish you were better. Don’t wish for less problems, wish for more skills. Don’t wish for less challenge, wish for more wisdom.

It can be so easy to wish and hope for things to be easier or to get better on their own. We are always searching for ways to get the best return for the least effort.

Sometimes this is a great thing. It helps us live efficient lives. However, sometimes this isn’t so great because we don’t put in the effort we should.

This is where taking a look at ourselves and putting in the work to become more than we are is what we should do instead.

Quote No. 2 – Brian Tracy

Successful people are always looking for opportunities to help others.

Unsuccessful people are always asking, “What’s in it for me?

When you really think about it, helping others brings an even greater value into our lives!

When we help others we make a positive impact on them. What we may not also realize is that it has a positive impact on ourselves as well.

Fighting solely for ourselves will get us to some places, but fighting to help others will take us many more.

Quote No. 3 – Mahatma Gandhi

Learn as if you will live forever, live like you will die tomorrow.

This thought is simple but profound.

If we never stop learning, we never stop growing. That is what makes life an even greater joy to live.

Also, none of us know how much time we have left. We could have a few days or many years, but either way, it is uncertain. We should make the most of the time we have now because our time will not last forever.

Quote No. 4 – Winston Churchill

The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees opportunity in every difficulty.

Opportunities are precious, and difficulties help us grow. How we approach them is up to us, but that is what makes all the difference.

It is those who make the most of their opportunities and work through their difficulties who go the farthest in the end.

Quote No. 5 – Tony Robbins

Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible.

It is almost impossible to hit a target if you can see it in the first place.

When the target becomes clear and if you focus enough, then you will finally be able to hit it successfully.

Without a clear goal and a focused aim, you might as well be riding a horse trying to hit a bullet with an even smaller bullet while blindfolded all at the same time!

Quote No. 6 – Oprah Winfrey

Think like a queen. A queen is not afraid to fail. Failure is another stepping stone to greatness.

When we fail we learn. Choosing to get back up and overcome that failure is how we rise to heights unseen.

If you fail often enough, work hard enough, and never give up, then you will be successful in the end.

Quote No. 7 – Confucius

He who conquers himself is the mightiest warrior.

Conquering external forces is difficult, no question. But conquering ourselves is the ultimate test.

If we have the strength to conquer ourselves, what then can stop us from reaching success?

Quote No. 8 – Zig Ziglar

People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily.

It is true, a little motivation can go a long way, but it doesn’t last forever. That’s still no reason not to seek out motivation consistently and often.

Just like staying clean, it feels good to be motivated to act on your dreams and make the most of every moment of the day.

Quote No. 9 – Stephen R. Covey

I am not a product of my circumstances. I am a product of my decisions.

No matter what happens, we always have a choice of how to respond and how to conduct ourselves.

Yes, it can be hard at times, but that doesn’t mean there is nothing we can do. We can decide to make the most of even the worst of circumstances.

We always have a choice.

Quote No. 10 – Warren Buffet

Someone’s sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.

Your actions today may not seem like much now. But weeks from now, years from now, and decades from now, they just might be the cause of something truly wonderful and amazing!
