Courses

Four words – you learn by doing!

In other courses, you are introduced to new topics. After that, you might be shown an example problem or two, but the rest of the practice materials leave you on your own.

In Spreadsheet Life courses, there is a heavy emphasis of practice lessons, challenges, projects, and exercises. This way, you get the guided hands-on practice you need to master the material. And the best part, I work through every single practice problem with you so you’re not left figuring it out on your own.

I would never wish for you to be unhappy! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase within the first 14 days, contact me at info@spreadsheetlife.com, and I will make sure you get a full refund!

Yes, absolutely!

Below each lesson, you’ll find a comment section where you can ask any question about the topic. I’ll be right there to do my very best to answer your question and help you to understand the material.

Yes I do! Just send me an email at info@spreadsheetlife.com with your details.

You have access for life! After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like – across any and all devices you own.

Just send me an email at info@spreadsheetlife.com.

Template Compatibility

Most Spreadsheet Life templates work on Mac. If a template is not compatible with Mac, you will see a note in the Product Description stating “Windows Only.”

Please note that you need to have Microsoft Excel for Mac to run Spreadsheet Life Excel templates. Apple’s Numbers is not supported.

I make templates for both Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. The webpage for each template will state if the template has been made for either Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.

I make templates for Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Unfortunately, I do not make any templates designed to be compatible with OpenOffice at this time.

Most Spreadsheet Life templates work with Excel 2010 or later versions. If a template only works with a newer version of Excel, you will see a note in the Product Description stating so.

Help

Macros are little programs run inside the document. They are written with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) coding language and used to automate complicated tasks without manual effort. Some Spreadsheet Life templates include macros (VBA code) in order to automate the workflow and simplify the user experience.

Macros are coded into the template so you don’t need to install anything. For security reasons, they are disabled by default when you first open the file. You will need to enable them when you first open the template.

Enable for Windows Users:
When you first open the file you will notice the yellow message bar appearing on the top. Click on Enable Editing > Enable Content

Enable for Mac Users:
When you first open the file you will see a message window asking if you want to enable macros. Simply click “Enable Macros.” If you do not see any notification and macros are disabled, then go to File > Excel Options > Security Settings > Enable Macros

If you have more questions and need to reach me, you can visit the contact page or send an email to info@spreadsheetlife.com. I generally reply within one business day.

If you think you’ve messed up your template, you can always download it again. Just revisit the link provided in your confirmation email or account. If you still need help, just contact me with your purchase or download information and I will gladly send you the template again.

Also as a suggestion – when you download our templates, keep the original file aside and work on a copy of the file. Plus keeping versions of your workbook or spreadsheet is always a good practice.
